A Tribute To Pitbulls

The All American Hero

This page is dedicated to the "All American Hero" known to most as Pitbulls. The videos have been created by people who love this breed and recognize that there is another side to the image that the media presents. Some images and stories tell of dogs that have gone above and beyond to serve and protect. In some cases these dogs have paid the ultimate price for their love and loyalty. They have given their lives to protect the people they love. We call these dogs "animal heros" (as we should) but I am going to ask you to expand your understanding of the word "hero" for a moment. There are also some images of those that have been betrayed by those who were entrusted to care and provide for them. They have suffered un-speakable abuse which in my opinion would make it completely understandable if they were to hate people, yet they accept the help and love of those who have made it their lifes mission to help wounded and sick animals. they are amazingly forgiving and gentle, we could learn a lot from them.
